Bought a Surface Pro in 2013. After a few years the battery stopped charging. It is for all intents impossible to replace.

Now I buy Thinkpads.

To be fair, the Surface we know for its 0/10 repairability 10 years ago is vastly different compared to today.

Heck, they even post an official repair guide as far as Surface Pro 7+ on Youtube[0].

I've had to replace the charger on my kid's surface pro 3 times now in 3 years.
