What's with the `?ref=sanjayparekh.com` query parameter? It's present on every link, is that some new tracking standard?

browsers started to limit referrer info a few years ago, this might be a workaround.

Yeah it looks like that, but is this an official standard that's defined somewhere. I am not sure what to search for.
