While most mesothelioma (a rare cancer) is known to be caused by asbestos and not other agents, asbestos is known to cause other cancers of the lung, larynx, and ovary, with limited evidence of some other cancers as well. https://www.cancer.gov/about-cancer/causes-prevention/risk/s... These are more common cancers, and not usually possible to map to a precise cause when they occur. |
