What would it say about humans if we never invented market research?

Hey, here's a thought experiment: imagine a world where marketing research doesn't exist and advertisers are creating ads based on their intuition, rather than relying on market research reports. And that is seen as normal. What would be the big implications of this? What would a typical human look like in a world where the concept of market research had never been invented? And the reason for it not being invented, *wouldn't* be that it had been banned. Some other reason instead, like for example, we just never thought of that. |
