[Dwedit]

I just use the Run dialog (WindowsKey+R) to get a plain text box.

Run Dialog (WindowsKey+R), Paste (Ctrl+V), Select All (Ctrl+A), Copy (Ctrl+C), Cancel (ESC). Now clipboard has plain text.
