MM120 is chemically identical to LSD. The "optimization" they claim is just a regulatory workaround aimed at maintaining patent protection for longer. As far as shorter trips, Compass Pathways is testing psilocybin for depression. Another company, Field Trip Health, was developing an analog of psilocybin with a shorter trip duration, but it doesn't seem to be progressing past Phase 1 trials. |
