You could block ads on the internet for a while, the problem was not in the technology, but have the desire and being literate enough to block ads. The Adblock-Ad delivery arms race had not begun in earnest. So far browser manufacturers have made some movements to curb the adblockimg ability and some websites have rudimentary Adblock detection tech. This is nothing compared to spam, captcha and SEO arms races. |
