Nah, my argument is based on: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances." Nowhere is mention of 'amplitude' of speech. If Facebook et al want to restrict what their users say then good on them, they are a private entity and can do whatever they want. Destroying these platforms because they allow speech you don't agree with is not the job of government. |
