Huh I enjoyed some of is books but they were generally quite meh and the pricing model on Amazon started to seem a bit much.

Guess now I know why.

I remember reading collapsing empire and feeling less like it was book 1 of a trilogy and more like it was one-third of a novel abruptly cut-off.

Kind of makes more sense now.
