Additional software being free by default is definitely an advantage Linux has, although usually not the benefit I see pointed to by most Linux users. That being said I am a dev and a designer and I can't think of any paid software I use beyond Figma (which is free for basic use) and Texts.app which doesn't have any free or paid equivalent on Linux. |
