I'm using a Thinkpad T480 (Core i5 8250u) with Kubuntu. I undervolted the CPU so that it runs cooler and doesn't throttle. Then I upgraded the RAM to 32GB. Overall, it's quite a good laptop that I paid $200 for 2 years ago. But you can't do any heavy lifting with it. |
