Hi, I'm currently working in academia as an Assistant Professor of Quantitative Methods at the Social Sciences Department and I'm working on transitioning to the industry. I obtained my PhD in 2019 and have been working on computational and quantitative methods since then. My latest project is the R package transforEmotion, which is used for sentiment analysis and emotion detection in text, images, and videos: https://github.com/atomashevic/transforEmotion.

I have experience with data science/ML projects in academia, as well as consulting for NGOs and companies. I'm open to remote work possibilities as a full-time data scientist or research scientist.
