About us: Medigram is a small team of passionate people solving the most painful problems in healthcare. We're building a cross-platform, HIPAA-compliant, and real-time communications platform for healthcare professionals everywhere. We are currently in private beta, with over 40 hospital and physician groups on the waiting list.

About the role: Medigram is looking for an experienced engineer to build our Android app who will play a lead role in product development, from concept to launch. We have a fast-paced environment with the right balance of quick, iterative development and deliberate, smart architecting. The ideal candidate should be ready to take charge and dictate features and design, and have a 'whatever it takes' attitude towards shipping a beautiful product.

Requirements:

* Solid understanding of the intricacies in the Android platform

* Experience with web services such as REST, JSON, XML

* Understanding of caching theory and basic security principles

* Knowledge of Python/Django/MySQL is a plus
