Do the AI creators make any money?

I see there is a big community of creators that generate art with AI. Many of them have video cards and run the image generation using mostly WebUI on their computer. Some of them train custom models and create LoRas too.

Kazimir.ai says there are 110k active creators that have already created more than 3M images. 70% of what is NSFW content btw.

Probably even bigger community is on services like Midjorney or Leonardo.ai.

All the top creators have their sponsorship pages on Patreon. Some creators gate their content and unlock it for paid subscribers.

It's hard to say if there's a demand for such AI image generation services but there's is definitely an interest from the community.

So, my question is, do they creators make any money?
