How exactly is Russia going to get 10000 H100? I was under the impression that even legit companies in the US are fighting over them On China - feels like the tech sanctions are an own goal. Short term delay sure but long term puts China into a much stronger position thanks to independence. Plus more risky that they just grab it from here and run away with it like with EVs and solar. If I were American I’d really be wondering whether this is the correct strategic play |

Wasn't that always going to happen? The Tianhe-2 used Intel Xeon chips, but I can't imagine China was going to buy chips from Intel forever. It hasn't happened in any other industry.
