I could be wrong, but doesn't notepad++ have an option to choose which symbols are considered a part of a word? If it's not notepad++, I'm thinking of xed. That would help with at least a part of this person's complaints, like the underscore being considered a part of the word. But it kind of seems like they want the text editor to just read their mind, sometimes considering a symbol as part of a word and sometimes not. |
