That’s pretty nuts. This could have been written by me. At the end of my psychedelic journeys I found a deep abyss of meaninglessness and hopelessness. I think it was DPDR, but it shook me to my core. Ram Dass and Alan Watts spoke to me profoundly through psychedelics, but from a place of suicidal hopelessness Jesus was the only idea that redeemed this existence by reframing it as an opportunity to learn to love (albeit imperfectly). |
