We're regressing back to fiefdom in Canada thanks to the unaffordability of housing and people in the United States have a similar situation with employer provided medical coverage combined with at-will employment. True, many more people are out of poverty, but few are truly prosperous anymore compared to the "American Dream" in the latter half of the 20th century. |
