Supporting anecdote: I built a PC a few years ago, and first tried multiple AMD cards. All of them worked fine while using the default windows drivers, but as soon as I installed AMD's drivers, they stopped working. Spent weeks troubleshooting, no luck. Gave up, bought an Nvidia card, zero problems. |
