For clarity, you need sales. Building a sales team punts that problem down the road. And if you haven't actually done sales of the thing you are selling: 1. You can't make an informed decision about who to hire. 2. You can't make an informed decision about what is a good lead and a bad lead. Sales is the most important thing for a business. It needs to be the top priority of the person in charge. It is more important than building the thing and you can sell something that has not been built. Whatever is on the list of reasons for not doing sales yourself, consider each and every one an excuse. |
