I'd only offer two insights. First, don't underestimate the power of personal contact. As great as technology is, getting to know, and showing interest in others on a personal level is powerful. People are a social species and will choose a friend over a stranger to deal with. Second, success (or failure) accumulates over time. As you build, you gain momentum. Many people change course too quickly, and as a result, never gain the momentum that makes things easier and more rewarding. |
