Wirecutter isn't bad per se but they fail to mention that many of their reviewed brands are really just OEM/ODM products. Nothing fundamentally wrong with that, but when UGreen/Baseus/even Anker have products that are virtually identical to other "random name" brands, you don't need to spend that much on name. A Samsung tablet vs iPad is an actual comparison. A "ODM but logo 1" vs "ODM from same factory but logo 2" isn't really what average consumers think it is. |
