I'm from the Brazilian south and tbh, a few times I prepared mate with the tea from Argentina and got the shakes just like I had 5 espressos. I think too much water was in contact with the tea, which in this version is too fine and maybe I just ingested a lot. I'd say the regular process of mate drinking is like having a progressively dilluted coffee/tea , so I expect it to be mild... |
