It's definitely true that LLMs change the dynamic of 'discrete, deterministic computing'. For example LLMs will provide better quality results if they are told the task is important, or if 'offered' rewards. The obliquity in how LLMs are optimized is definitely a paradigm shift. Having said that, this is just a moment in time and LLMs are just one component of AI and the knowledge and tools to interact with LLMs and AI or constantly evolving.
