They exist, but they're mostly the companies that are the kind you'd never see on HN: relatively high-employee-turnover medium-sized businesses entirely uninvolved in technology - that aren't large enough to have an adequately funded IT dept - or where their IT is outsourced to a nepotistic MSP. ...the kind where IT policies are set by the same-kinds-of-people that banks hire that tell them to actively try to stop users pasting passwords into their online-banking logon screens. |
