It only makes sense for businesses to pass on the cost of the platform tax to consumers. It isn't sustainable to take a 30% hit to your margin unless your business was solely built on that given platform from day 1. So long as we, the consumer, allow this to happen businesses like Apple and Google will continue to do it. |
