To be fair, "Unix philosophy" was originated by said engineers themselves. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix_philosophy Speaking of emacs, it was created outside Unix, to be later reincarnated by Stallman as part of his "GNU's Not Unix" project. |
