‘He worked remote’ thought popped into my head. He wasn’t there to “grow into leadership role” with the rest of the early employees. I do agree with your read of the situation. btw, that restaurant in Amsterdam is apparently the go to place for startups. I am certain I sat in one of those chairs (was this on 2nd floor facing the canal?) with another fabled startup. |
