There are companies that hire non-traditional developers with the understanding that they need a little time to ramp up. Traditionally a CS student out of college would be a level 1 (aka junior developer). I've seen companies that create level 0 positions and expect you to reach level 1 capabilities in a year or two. I have no idea how to find these jobs but they do exist. |
