I explained that I preferred not to build and add a React based tool to a profitable Vanilla JS app. The package included dependencies for Postgres. The purpose was to spawn a modal dialog and dispatch requests to the selected service. All of the core functionality could have been provided by a single JSON file describing the possible endpoints. It's hundreds, thousands of silly dependencies taking countless disk space, and a waste of time "minimizing" what should have never been there in the first place.
I avoid Node.js like the plague. I feel nauseous just thinking about that.
