By Jiminy, I think, uncertainly, that Bard is better and shorter, though maybe there were some copyright issues with other companies and it was easier to change the name. Cache invalidation and naming things are two of the hardest things in Computer Science, and so on. By the way, there is still a Gemeni in there (“Bard becomes the *Gemeni* chat interface…”). |
