Elon regretted signing the deal very soon after and spent many months trash talking to try to provoke Twitter's management and board into telling him to go away. Then, on the eve of litigation, he rage quit and closed the deal. That doesn't leave a lot of room for planning. Malice? Stupidity? It's not an exclusive choice. |
