There are a number of diners I can go to that offer a tastier and more substantiative meal with table service for the same price as the last few burger combos I've gotten from McDonald's, A&W and Dairy Queen. It was the $17 DQ double cheeseburger combo that prompted me to draw a line. Not only did it cost 50% more than before the pandemic, it was tiny. The fries were tiny. The burger was tiny. I'm done with fast food. |
