I learnt jQuery and I would say ‘I could code in jquery, but not pure JavaScript’ - that’s since changed but I do still find foreach jQuery iteration by classname fairly elegant, in addition to $.get and $.post. I’m not saying that it’s good or bad, but maintenance may mean developers who don’t know or care for modern web don’t have to learn something new. |
