At first glance, it looks preordained that the DOJ will sue on antitrust grounds. Or maybe Prime Video has grown sufficiently over the years so that Warner + Fox + Disney are now small enough to attempt something like this? In any case, I don’t think it’s a way to improve user experience in a streaming world: it’s a pretty transparent attempt at improving bargaining power within rights negotiations… |
