100% agree that there are different levels of marketing lies, and Gemini was lying about tech where this is just acting/staged. I was mainly referring to how in both cases the creators are using this "fake authentic" tiktok-style corporate content with actors clearly behaving in non-realistic ways. So damn cringe... but I can see how equating the two causes confusion and I wish I could delete my original comment. HN seems to have timed out the edit window :( |
