This is incorrect. DEI initiatives usually change the test and qualifications for admission / hiring. This was most obvious in "affirmative action" where less qualified minority individuals would be admitted to elite schools over Asian candidates. Blackrock, which controls most of the Fortune 500 boards, mandates hiring quotas for minorities. Recruiters fulfill this by hiring less qualified individuals over those who are more qualified but not of the politically correct race. |
