FWIW, I have USAA and had the almost exact same thing happen to me in 2020 - car stolen and totaled. They paid me a really fair deal on the cash back for the 2yo crosstrek. It probably helped that it was a cut and dry case - the thief took the keys from inside my house and I called the cops seconds after I saw him drive away with it. |
