Yeah I noticed this too. That was a completely unfair comparison, and if the author of this article is a decent engineer, then he has to know how egregiously bad faith that comes across. The author won't have support from a lot of people after two mistakes: 1. He's published the article under his native Mac app's blog, which he has every incentive to do and for that reason is biased. 2. Comparing a local text editor to an app that loads tons of rich media content from one of the busiest servers in the world discredits the argument in a major way |
