I mean, AI's (robots) weld on assembly lines. It's all about the context.

They do have indoor assembly line welding robots. But, they don't have welding robots for outdoor, ground-breaking construction job sites yet.

Not all welds are equal, tacking a frame together isn't the same as a pipe weld.

We're not far off having adaptive autonomous pipe welding in-situ.
