It would be possible to use the LED itself for bidirectional communications (for example reconfiguring it), see https://www.merl.com/publications/TR2003-35 or "Very Low-Cost Sensing and Communication
Using Bidirectional LEDs" by Mitsubishi. You could then reprogram the device. |
