It seems like battery technology hasn't improved much since the model s was introduced. A 2012 Toyota Camry was rated around 28 mpg combined. A 2025 is rated at 46 mpg combined. That's a 60 percent improvement. I don't think the model s has seen anywhere near a 60 percent improvement in range or efficiency during the same time span. |
