The new (non-electron) Teams 2.0 is lighter weight and subjectively feels more responsive, fwiw.

The only difference I've noticed is that I no longer get notifications that meetings have started, and also no longer have the ability to check if a meeting has started.

Is that some sort of beta application or is everyone using that by default? Mine on macOS says classic Microsoft teams.
