My regular IDE is IDEA with a bunch of language plugins, so I think I have a reasonable idea where you're coming from. The idea is to have a tool that can be either a lightweight text editor when you want that or a full on IDE when you want that, and potentially use a remote (could just be another machine on your desk or could've a container on a server) machine for the heavy lifting parts. I like the premise, but the public beta (or whatever they're calling it) is a little rough to use daily, for me. |
