Have you tried Orion? From the Kagi search team, it allows you to install both chrome and Firefox extensions including uBlock Origin. Still uses WebKit for rendering of course.

Oh I didn't know.

My lattes are still cheaper than a Kagi subscription though.

Edit: interesting, they don't even show what the "Orion+ subscription" costs if you don't make a Kagi account.
