Same here, paint work is not my forte but I'm interested in learning more and improving my skill set in this area. I've found through various failed paint projects that surface prep is critical. I used to think that paint would 'fill in' minor surface issues like scratches but it seems to actually highlight them in some cases. Your paint job looks really nice though.
