If a private company is doing it - and presumably not paying what the water is worth - that takes away the public's ability to decide how to prioritize the limited remaining water. Also, according to these people - https://foodprint.org/blog/plastic-water-bottle/ - it takes over 5 liters of water to make one bottle. |
