No doubt they'll sell us all out to survive, but we needn't be supportive of that. If the creators you support are unaware of this, which is likely, this will encourage them to diversify their patronage-system. In some highly-improbable universe this will cause Patreon to go bust before they get a chance to affect the law which is still a win for the rest of us. |
