The issue with sourcehut is that it's intentionally anti-social.

Which is totally fine for personal projects, but Git(lab|hub) are modelled on the notion that you should want people to contribute to your code.

SourceHut is modelled on the notion that people can contribute to your code even if they don’t have a SourceHut account. Wouldn’t that make it more social?
