yes, i am sure AI can compose music in the near future. a lot of folks are pessimistic on this one, but i can see the possibility. if we define music (as i do) as storytelling and musicians as storytellers, then we need to teach AI how to tell stories with music instruments. but that's not the direction i have seen the research take. |

Music is much more complex than telling a story. Are you a musician yourself? It's even a major issue that today NLP concepts (embeddings, etc.) are applied to music. The problems are fundamentally different.
